Testing new paper

Today I wanted to test a sheet of new paper that I got at the Copic certification class.  The paper was Prism simply smooth.  It has a little bit of a shiny surface which made it a little difficult to photo, sorry not the best photo.  On the butterlies the blending worked really well, which I was using a feathering technique, but I had a little trouble blending the browns on the bird house, kinda gave the house a wore look.  I think it is a really nice paper, I just need more practice.

So something sweet and simple for a Monday back at the grind.  My goal today is to get as many of my weekly cards done so that I can spend tomorrow working on the house...back to my 3 piles...keep, garage sale and garbage.

Copic colors used are:YG21, R20, R22, BG11 & BG13

Have a great Monday and see you tomorrow.

  1. Good luck with your house project. It's a never ending battle for me. I've yet to find the perfect paper. When you do, let me know. Have a good one.
