I love the smell of cookies baking, but when they are pumkin cookies with chocolate chips and toffee bits in them - yummy! I begged my daughter to make them for me tonight, but she bailed on me. So I decided I can do it myself. Well I'm not a baker by any means and half way thru the cookies my daughter came home to supervise me. Of course I called her two times on her cel to ask where the chocolate chips were and then what temperature I needed to bake these cookies at and I refrained calling her a third time to ask how long do I cook them for.
I don't think I did half bad. This is a recipe that I discovered when I was doing Weight Watchers a few years back.
Pumpkin Cookies
1 boxed Spice Cake Mix or Chocolate Cake Mix
1 can Pumpkin
1-2 tbsp of water
Additions:
Chocolate Chips
Toffee bits
Bake at 350 for 14 minutes. So yummy and low fat if you don't add the additions! What's a few little calories? Wait chocolate is good for you.
But I did finally get the picture of the card I did last night. I followed those instructions from the Paper Crafts magazine: Simple, punches, glitter and leave room for handwriting.
Supplies used: CTMH Jingle Creative Basics paper pack, Tulip, Hollyhock, Blush and Juniper cardstock, Tulip ink pad, 4 silver mini brads and a glitter gel pen.
Your pumpkin cookies have a much nicer 'shape' than mine do. Mine just look like 'lumps' of dough. lol
ReplyDeleteBTW, I've also used a Carrot Cake mix instead of the Spice Cake. But, I've never thought about a Chocolate cake mix - may have to give that a try.
