CSAYL - vellum

Happy Friday!
Time for another card closer to Christmas.  Each week I get one card or
one project closer to the holiday season.  It is so nice to have these done ahead of time.

This week at CSAYL challenge blog, we ere challenged to use
VELLUM.  I have a love/hate relationship with vellum.
All week I tried stamping and coloring on it, die cutting it and few others ideas...all failed.

So I ended up doing heat embossing my sentiment and sewing it on my card.  I had to add it to my non-traditional color scheme. A short and simple card that any of you can do yourself.

So why don't you join our challenge?
This week's winner will get a stack of 6x6 paper!

Hop on over to CSAYL and see the details of the challenge.

Happy Stamping!

  1. I totally understand your vellum frustrations, lol! You pulled it off though, and your card is fantastic!

  2. I have vellum that I've never used! You're great with non-traditional colors.

  3. LOVE THIS!!! The stitching is amazing--I am LOVING the colors, too! So glad to be working with you at CSAYL! :)

  4. I so agree: vellum can be such a pain to use!! But your card is absolutely gorgeous!! It really caught my eye as I was scrolling throught the CSAYL blog.

  5. It's a gorgeous creation, so beautiful;-))m
