CSAYL - Anything but a card

Happy Friday!

Today stamping challenge at CSAYL is anything but card challenge.

I love challenges like this because there are lots of gift packaging options out there, decorations and so much more.  I chose a Christmas pie, which was cut from my new CTMH Artiste Cricut cartridge.

They are so easy to make in any size.

So what is holding you back from joining CSAYL weekly challenges?  This week the winner is

going to get a surprise gift package from the team.  I know it will be really great.

Hop on over to CSAYL challenge blog and give some love to the talented

design team members and join in.

Happy Friday!  Boy do I have a busy week-end.

I have lots of sewing and I'm in a quilt show this week-end too.  Then off the prep for a demo I'm teaching on Wednesday night.  But that is enough about me.

Today at Christmas Stamping All Year Long blog, CSAYL, we were asked to make a card with digital images from our sponsor, Limited Runs, and a card sketch of our choice.  The winners, we are picking 3, of this challenge will get

a digital image of their choice!  So go check out Limited Runs Digital Stamps.

I went with a sketch from my favorite sketch book, CTMH Wishes.  The sketch is called

All Stacked UP.  You should check out this book, great when you are stumped and

need to make a quick card.

CSAYL - vellum

Happy Friday!

Time for another card closer to Christmas.  Each week I get one card or

one project closer to the holiday season.  It is so nice to have these done ahead of time.

This week at CSAYL challenge blog, we ere challenged to use

VELLUM.  I have a love/hate relationship with vellum.

All week I tried stamping and coloring on it, die cutting it and few others ideas...all failed.

So I ended up doing heat embossing my sentiment and sewing it on my card.  I had to add it to my non-traditional color scheme. A short and simple card that any of you can do yourself.

So why don't you join our challenge?

This week's winner will get a stack of 6x6 paper!

Hop on over to CSAYL and see the details of the challenge.

Happy Stamping!

Judy

CSAYL - what can you do with your card?

Thank goodness it's Friday!  I have been so busy this week.

But I always end the week with a stamping challenge.

This week at CSAYL we were asked to make a card that was one layer.  Very challenging!  But it came to me.  I just love those Christmas cards that have embossed snowflakes or embossed poinsettias.

So off I went searching my scraproom for embossing powder...I knew I had some but it's been years since I played with it.  But I did find that I had two heat guns.  Well the only embossing powder I could fins was white.

So here is my card...

I hope you join us on this week's challenge at CSAYL and you could be the next

guest designer for our challenge blog.

Happy Friday!

Judy
