7th day of Ornaments!

Whew!  I made it through the week of posting on my blog and made some really cute ornaments.  My tree is getting more and more color on it.  This is great!

Today I thought I would appeal to the scrapbookers who has loads and loads of paper in their stash.
This simple, and I mean simple, ornament was cut from an embossed metallic cardstock.  I have been holding on to this paper for 2 years and waiting for the prefect project.  You know the paper that is too pretty to cut and you don't want to waste it?  I know we all have some of those.

Goodness sake!  It's only paper.  Cut it.

Well I loaded it up in my Cricut and let it do it for me.  I used my CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge, which you can buy here.  BTW - both CTMH cartridges are great and they come with 3 stamp sets the coordinate.

Anyway,  I cut (8) 2 1/2" scalloped circles, scored them down the middle and started gluing one half to another until it made a ball.  That is how simple it is.

These sparkly purple spheres look wonderful on the tree and they are really sturdy.
This would be a great addition to a Christmas present.

Note to self: Maybe I should add a ribbon on top to dress them up a little more, but for my tree they are great.  Good project to do with kids.

Happy crafting!

Judy
