Send a postcard?

Have you sent postcards before?  As many of you know I have been teaching stamping classes with Close to my Heart for over 9 years.  I mainly teach card making classes, but have never created a postcard.

Since my next favorite thing is to play with fabric I was excited to go to Stateline, NV to the quilt shop Fabrics Unlimited.  They have an awesome store filled with lots of goodies for the NON TRADITIONAL quilter like me and for the traditional.  I would say this store has more items for the art quilter than any store here in Reno, NV.  Well last week she had a night to come and play and make fabric postcards.

We pulled out fabric markers, fusible backing, rubber stamps, paints, and more.
I would love to do a fabric postcard swap.
Anyone interested????

These were done in a traditional fashion with the sewing machine, but what a great way to use up some more scraps!

This particular one was done with wool roving and my new Babylock Embellisher needle felting machine!  You should checkout what this baby can do...here.

My daughter decided to do a postcard that steps out of boundaries.

So let me know if you are interested in starting a fabric postcard swap!

Sending happy thoughts your way.

Judy
