20yrs ago...

A little girl was born.  It is amazing how fast time, 20 YEARS!!! has gone.
Here is a picture of her at 1 month old and a picture taken about a month ago...

So today I have been busy making a Birthday card...

Picking up a Birthday Cake...

Do you think there is a theme here?  She loves zebra print and her bedroom is zebra and purple.  So it was alot of fun to do a card with purple hair!  Love that Greeting Farm stamp and the paper is retired CTMH Zebra.  Wish they still had it.

Anyways, we are going to the Eldorado Casino for dinner and Le Grand Cirque.  It should be a blast!  See you tomorrow!

Ironman

I love that saying "I am Ironman" and I'm so looking forward to the next sequel movie that is coming out soon.  But this layout is not about the movie, it is about the battles that my Dad has had over the last couple of years.  As my journaling says, "Ironman" is his nickname with the neighbors.  Some of you know, but I have been pretty quiet about it, but my dad had surgery on Wednesday to remove a cancerous tumor.  He goes to the Dr. in a week and we will know more about his treatment, but he has a great attitude about the whole thing.  So like my dad I like to make light of the situation and I really think my dad will enjoy me sending a copy of this digital layout.

I used a Greeting Farm stamp - Amazing Duo, colored with my Copic markers and scanned it in to add to the layout.  And I found the perfect paper pack is from Scrap Orchard, called Kawpow!  And that's the sound everytime my dad kicks butt!

Have a grand Sunday! - Judy

Anya looking fro Spring

Life is like a rainbow.  You need both the sun and the rain to make its colors appear.

Here's is a spring car and I LOVE the paper pack - My Eye's Mind, Love Me Do. I paper peiced Anya, which I wish I could get an picture of that (I'll try in a little bit), then I applied Diamond Glaze over her rain boots to make them shine and made those fabulous scrunchy flowers again.

I hope you have a wonderful Easter! - Judy

Retro fun card

Wow!  I am so proud of this card, just love it.  I stepped out of my comfort zone of using ribbons, flowers & nesties AND tried something new - my cricut!  I have it but hardly ever use it anymore, was seriously thinking of selling it with all the cartridges, but it came in handy with this card.  This was for The Greeting Farm Royale Battle challenge.  Although my card was not picked as team project, It was a very hard decision because the girls on the team are awesome, it is one that I really like.

Christy our team leader has created a really wonderful retro easle card that looks like it stepped right out of the 50's for our team project.  As soon as the team photos are posted I will psot the link!

Here is the inspriation photo that we had to go by:

Our team name is The Crazy Copic Chicks - go vote for our team, WE NEED YOUR VOTES for us to stay in next week at TGF.  Voting time is from Sunday - Tuesday see the blog for details.

Happy Saturday Night! - Judy

You Rock, DUDE!

I decided to play with my Greeting Farm stamp, Chibi Punk Boy, this week-end.  They are so much fun.  You can click on the picture to see it bigger.  So I started with a CTMH paper pack, You Rock & a card design from You Rock Workshop on the go kit.  Love the paper and card design and then I startede goofing off!  My daughter has been experimenting with different color hair, so I was going to just add a blue highlight but I got a little carried away!  I also did the punk girl, but I will have to show you a little later.
BTW - yes that is snow in the background of my picture!

So I just want to say to all my blog readers - "You Rock!"  I'm so glad that you drop by and leave a little encouragement.  A big thanks to you!
Judy

Supplies used:  CTMH You Rock paper pack, TGF Chibi Punk Boy, CTMH You Rock stamp set, CTMH Indian Corn Blue & black ink pads, bitty sparkles, navy brads, and Copic Markers.

My card today is for a challenge for Club Anya, they have Monday & Wednesday challenges.  This is for their Monday challenge.  It must have green, pink, chocolate & sparkle.  So I have added a sparkle gel pen to this Greeting farm cutie's hair, a little stickles to her slippers and of course no card would be complete without a rhinestone or two!  You should go over there and check out the Monday challenge and Wednesday one too.

Here is the inside of the card.

Hope to see you tomorrow. - Judy
