I just love this image!  This week's challenge on i {heart} copics group on Paper Craft Planet, is to make a card using Red, White & Blue.  Generally I shy away from primary colors but with the copic markers they are so much fun!  I am slowly building up my collection of markers, thanks to i {heart} papers.  Kate has super fast shipping and a great selection.

It's a Fab. Friday!

Sorry this post is a little late, I'm a little under the weather.  Today is a  card challenge over on Paper Craft Planet, i {heart} copics group.  You should join us and have some fun!  This week was to use 3 embellishments (sparkle bard, dew drops, & doilie) 2 pieces of pattern paper and 1 image.  Pretty simple!

Friday warm wishes!

Oh it has been a week!  Whoever said a garage sale is a great thing forgot about how much work it is!

This past week I have been sorting, purging, donating and pricing.  Yesterday I had a friends & family craft sale and got to see lots of my CTMH friends.  I so miss teaching classes.  Lots of things went, but there is still lots to go thru today.  But I managed to sneak in a little coloring between people and purging.

Today is a challenge to PCP i {heart} copics group.  Here is the picture for inspiration...

to me this is a funny looking phone!!  Anyways I chose to do Tilda Butterfly.  Oh I so miss coloring my Magnolias. 

However I am so glad that Kate over at i {heart} papers hooked me up with my Copic markers.  She and the DT would love to have you join our weekly challenge, so hop on over to PCP and join in.

Good Morning!  It's Friday and that means a new i {heart} copics card challenge  on Paper Craft Planet and this week we got the opportunity to play with the NEW Chicken Girl Designs digi images!  This week the card challenge is sponsored by i {heart} papers. 

I have always wanted to make one of these folded cards, unsure what the name of them are, so this week was a great time to try something new.  I used my new paper pack from Cosmo Cricket - Delovely and matched it with my CTMH juniper cardstock.  Totally cheerful and bright!

Have cheeky birthday

Do you like making cards in different shapes?  I do!  So this week the challenge at i {heart} copics is make a shaped card of any shape!

I wish a I had a cheeky girl to send this FAB birthday card to...anyone's birthday coming up?  I'll send this fabulous card to them!

SO, Can you guess how many different tools I used to create this card?  Well I was on a mission to prove to my hubby that all my scrapbooking tools are useful tools and they are all needed and thay can't possibly go into the garage sale! 

So here's the list:

Copic Markers - The pearls in the center of the flowers were colored with BG13. They look so cool.  I have more coming from Kate over at i {heart} papers...shhh!  He doesn't look that closely to my now two copic storage boxes that are almost full or read this blog post!  

Cricut Expressions - need to use this because I totally convinced him how it would be so great to have.  The Cake shaped card is from Sweet Treats cartridge!

CuttleBug embossing folders another MUST, BTW Kate has them too!

Martha Stuart border punch - drippy goo looks like icing to me, don't you think?

It's a Fab. Friday!

It is going to be a FAB. Friday.  It's sunny and we are going to hit the high 60's.  We have been in the 50's for over a month so it will be nice to have some warmer weather.  Yesterday was the first day that I ran around shopping without a sweater on, just a short sleeve t-shirt.  It was so strange because I'm always cold.

Well anyways, every Friday we have a great challenge over at i {heart} copics on the PCP board.  This week we had a challenge of a monochromatic card.  You can choose shades of any color to participate.  I chose three Copic markers (B21, B32, B34).  This little card opens up and has a tean bag on the inside.

Such a fun little gift for someone.  If you didn't want it to be a tea bag, it could be a gift card, movie tickets or just a special note!  The card template came from a LSS, but I didn't even think that I could have looked on my Crciut cartridges and I'm sure I could find a purse card in one of them! Oh well.

Friday is such a great day and don't these monkey's look like they want a party?  Well today I am having a open house party at my house, but you have to first stop by i {heart} copics group on PCP and check out their card challenge for this week.  It is a pocket card with a matching tag.

Have a Fabulous Friday Challenge

Yes, it is finally Friday and the day to see what we are doing at i {heart} copics on PCP are doing.  The challenge for this week is 2 patterned papers, 3 Copic colored embellishments and 1 Copic colored image.  Are you up for the challenge?

I chose to use my Sweet Pea stamp and try out coloring this girl with purple hair.  The paper that I chose is BG- Kioshi from i {heart} papers.  My 3 embellishments were: white  lace copic colored with V15 on the bottom of the card, little tulle butterfly embellishment was colored with G20 & B00 and the dew drops on the larger butterfly were colored with V17.  You can get a great price on copics at i {heart} papers.

Good Morning!  Are you ready for a color challenge?

The DT over at i {heart} copics on PCP have a challenge for you to use three colors on your cards:

BG15, B91, Y21

but don't worry if you don’t have those exact colors, something close is just fine!

I chose to play with mu Copics and another Sweet Pea stamp and make a circle card, but in the challenge you can make whatever you would like just use your Copic markers and if you need markers at a great price go to i {heart} papers.  So hop on over to PCP and join our i {heart} copics group we have a fun group of ladies.

Fabulous Friday

Here is a fun and fabulous little gift box and card.  Today the i {heart} copics group on PCP is having their fabulous Friday challenge.  The challenge is to make a card or project with a Spring or Easter theme, and of course use your Copics. 

I chose to use a birthday box template from Pixel Geeks and the Chicken Girl's digi image - Skateboard Bunny from  i {heart} papers.  Then I created the background paper on the card with an ink pad and a pencil eraser AND colored some white flowers with my copic pens.

I {heart} Copics group on PCP has a really fun challenge this week.  Are you up to it? 

I hope so.  This week the sponsor is Pixel Geek Designs, they have some really cool templates and bunch of other stuff.  So this week's challenge is to make a craft item and to color our embellishments with Copics.  So this means color your brads, buttons, flowers, ribbon or anything else you can think of.  I know that the i{hear} copics team will have loads more ideas and examples so go check them out too!

I chose to create and color my flowers with Copics.  I have included a slideshow to show how to do it yourself, but if you have questions let me know.  This week I was really excited to be using my new My Mind's Eye paper pack, Ooh La La, Thanks to Kate over at i {heart} paper.

However, I have to admit this it the first Magnolia stamp AND the first time ever coloring one.  I think I'm hooked!!  I hope to show you more of them when I get my next order...hehehe!

It is so exciting to be in the first group to play with new digi's.  Kate over at i {heart} paper, has a clear stamp line called Chicken Girl Designs but this week she released some in digital stamps.  I just think they are stinkin cute that I had to do two cards for you!

Exciting news...long post

The exciting news is that I was asked to be on i {heart} copics design team this week.  This is a group that is on Paper Craft Planet (PCP) that I have been apart of for some time.  The ladies there are full of some great advise when it comes to learning how to use your copics.  But with exciting news comes so bad...my guest DT with InStyle ended and I had to step down from Teddy Bear Stampers challenge team.  My plate was full.  I am so thankful to make new friends.

So...Today I have a card to share!  Every Friday I will be posting a i {heart} copics challenge card and we would LOVE for you to join in.  This week there is a card sketch and we have a awesome sponsor, Michelle Perkett.  Go check out her digis...HERE.  Here it is...
